At a minimum, the people who shape how the firm grows. That usually means managing partners, practice group leaders, and your marketing team, if you have one. We've worked with firms where one partner drove the whole engagement and firms where an entire leadership team was in the room. Both work. What doesn't work is starting without the right voices. We structure every engagement to get them involved without turning it into a committee project.
Whether to partner with a digital marketing agency or hire in-house depends on what your firm actually needs. In-house teams are great for execution and institutional knowledge. What they often can't provide is outside perspective, specialized depth across brand, digital, SEO, and AI search, and the senior talent that would cost three times as much to hire full time.
